For me this song is about leaving all behind and fight for the aim of graduating. However, it is sad that in this process whereby you are becoming better a great deal of friends feel jelaous about your success and you have to leave them behind. It is also sad the fact, that you spend a lot of time in library alone reading books, trying to design something to change the world for good by the means of your thesis and there is nobody around you.
